ADMISSION PROCESS

You’ve made the decision to come to rehab. Now what? What should you bring? What should you leave at home? When should you arrive?
Our caring and qualified staff will help you to set up your enrollment, free airport pick up and drop off, and get settled into treatment.

On Call 24 Hours 7 Days a Week

The Casa Morphos staff are available to discuss and schedule admissions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The first step towards finding freedom from addiction is to call us at 800.803.8864. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have, arrange a tour, or schedule an admission.

Before Admission

Our staff will ask you some basic questions regarding substance use, health, and your goals for the program. We will also explain the intake process and any financial considerations prior to admission.

During Admission

We take a team approach with each individual. When a resident is admitted to our program, they are assigned a mental health therapist as well as a drug/alcohol counselor. The three of them meet to determine the goals of the treatment while they are at Casa Morphos.

After Admission


Each resident receives individual psychotherapy twice a week with a psychologist and substance abuse counselor. This is in addition to all of the various group options that we offer, beginning at about 6:30 am and continuing until about 8:00 pm. Rarely will you find this level of individualized care at other rehab facilities at the price point that we offer.

ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE

We admit adults of at least 18 years up to 50 years of age who are struggling with an addiction to a mind- or mood-altering substances.

      WHAT TO BRING


  • Casual, Comfortable Clothes: Our atmosphere is casual and comfortable.
  • Personal Hygiene Items: Pack your toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, and shampoo, etc.
  • Prescription Medications: Pack your medications (in the original bottle with doctor prescribed protocol) in a plastic Ziplock bag to bring with you. These will be locked in an office and given to you at the appropriate times during the day by our nurse on duty or physician.
  • Cell phones: There are some restrictions as to when and where you can use your cell phone, but you may bring it with you. If your phone has a camera, be respectful of the anonymity of our guests. Please, only take pictures with other guests if you have their permission and do not post pictures on social networks.
  • Spending money: CASH possession is prohibited, you are only allowed to use debit/ credit cards. If these things are not available, you will be required to make a transfer prior to admission depending on your spending all throughout your stay.

  • Smoking is allowed in a designated area of the facility.
  • We do have controlled internet access in a public area.
  • You may also bring your personal laptop and connect to the wi-fi in designated areas.

WHEN AND HOW DO I MAKE MY DOWN PAYMENT?

Most people make a down payment of 25% of the total price before they arrive in order to confirm their reservation.Full payment should be done prior to admission. 


Methods of payment include cash deposit, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. 


WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE ADMIT PROCESS?

The admit process generally takes about an hour. If accompanied, family and friends are welcome to walk the grounds or visit in the lobby while you are being admitted.


During the admission process, you will meet with the doctor or intake nurse (as needed), give us your medical history, sign some legal paperwork, take some tests (i.e. breathalyzers), and general laboratory screening in the following 24 hours. No medical interventions will be given until result is available for further medical evaluation and recommendation. 


After your paperworks are completed, we will show your room to you and then give you some time to say goodbye to your friends and family (if accompanied) or call your loved ones for the last time since you will be out of reach in the next 15 days without any access to any communication or gadgets.

most important step that you can take toward lifelong recovery.
